Welcome to PawAfterglow. We created this service to help pet parents honor the companions who meant the world to them. These terms explain how our service works and what you can expect from us.
1. Our Service
PawAfterglow provides AI-powered pet memorial services. We transform the photos you upload into artistic portraits, animated videos, and personalized stories. These are creative interpretations — not exact reproductions — generated using artificial intelligence.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use our service and make purchases. By using PawAfterglow, you confirm that you own or have the rights to the photos you upload.
3. Orders & Payment
- All prices are in US dollars (USD).
- Payment is processed securely through Stripe. We never see or store your credit card information.
- After payment, you receive a redemption code via email. This code is unique to your order.
- Redemption codes do not expire unless otherwise stated.
- Each code can be used once. After use, the photos are processed and your memorial is created.
4. Delivery & Revisions
- Most memorials are delivered within 24 hours of photo upload.
- If you're not satisfied with your memorial, you may request one free revision within 7 days of delivery.
- If we cannot meet your expectations after revision, we offer a full refund — no questions asked.
5. Refund Policy
We offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If you're not happy with your memorial for any reason:
- Contact us within 30 days of delivery.
- We'll either re-create your memorial or issue a full refund.
- Refunds are processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.
For Monthly Memorial Club subscriptions, you can cancel anytime. No refunds for partial months, but you won't be charged again.
6. Subscription Terms (Monthly Memorial Club)
Our Monthly Memorial Club is a recurring subscription service. By subscribing, you agree to the following terms:
- Subscription Fee: $9.99 per month (USD), charged on the same date each month.
- Automatic Renewal: Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period. You will be charged $9.99 for each renewal unless you cancel before the next billing date.
- Billing Cycle: You will be billed monthly. The charge will appear on your statement as "PawAfterglow" or "PAWAFTERGLOW".
- Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time, for any reason. To cancel:
- Visit our Cancel Subscription page and enter your email address and subscription ID, or
- Click the "Cancel Subscription" link in any billing confirmation email you received from us.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will not be charged again, and you will retain access to your subscription benefits through the end of the period you have already paid for.
- No Refunds for Partial Months: We do not issue refunds or credits for partially used billing periods. If you cancel mid-cycle, your subscription remains active until the end of that billing period.
- Price Changes: We reserve the right to change the subscription price. If we do, we will notify you at least 30 days before the change takes effect via email. You may cancel before the new price takes effect if you do not wish to continue at the updated price.
- Benefits During Subscription: Each month you receive 1 AI-generated portrait. Every 3 months, you also receive a personalized memory video. You may choose a new art style each month and enjoy priority delivery.
- After Cancellation: Upon cancellation, you will no longer receive new portraits or videos. Previously delivered content remains accessible to you. Your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
- Failed Payments: If a payment fails, we will attempt to retry the charge. If payment continues to fail after 3 attempts, your subscription may be suspended. We will notify you by email before any suspension.
7. Your Content
- You retain all rights to the photos you upload.
- By uploading photos, you grant us a limited license to use them solely for creating your memorial.
- We do not claim ownership of your photos or your pet's story.
- We will never use your photos for marketing, advertising, or training AI models without your explicit written consent.
8. Our Content
The AI-generated memorials (portraits, videos, stories) are created for your personal use. You may:
- Print and display them in your home
- Share them on personal social media accounts
- Share them with family and friends
Commercial use of the generated content is not permitted without a separate license agreement.
9. Limitations
Our AI service creates artistic interpretations. Results may vary and may not perfectly match your expectations. We do our best, but we cannot guarantee exact likeness. This is part of what makes each piece unique — like a painting, not a photograph.
10. Limitation of Liability
PawAfterglow provides our service "as is." Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
11. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes will be resolved through good-faith negotiation first. If that fails, disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, USA.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms occasionally. We'll notify registered users of significant changes via email.
